Our goal at More from Life Personal Training is to reach out to clients and help them to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle, so that they can get more from life and reach their full potential.


Fitness testing

At the start of your program with More From Life Personal Training and then and every 6-8 weeks we test your fitness to monitor progress. This involves a cardio vascular check with heart monitor, a series of  muscular endurance tests and body fat scales. This enables us to tailor your program more accurately.


Personal training

More From Life Personal Training will design a personal training program for you utilizing a number of techniques to give you a well rounded program, variety and fun with your workouts. The workouts include resistance training with machines and free weights, boxing, cardio workouts, fitball exercises, indoor and outdoor sessions. Cardio workouts are important for increasing fitness and heart/lung health. General strength training increases your muscle mass, metabolic rate and helps to increase & maintain bone density and manage joint problems. Boxing helps to improve co-ordination and cardiovascular fitness as it is a higher intensity workout using all your limbs. It also adds some fun and variety to your workout and has proved very popular with our female clients.


Weight loss & nutrition

The key elements to weight loss are balancing your diet(input) and exercise(output), building muscle to increase your metabolic rate, the correct nutrition to lose fat & build muscle, setting realistic goals and the maintaining the motivation to keep going. Your personal trainer can help you with all these aspects, giving you the individual attention that you won't get at a gym, and keeping you accountable.
